Meet the Team

Luke has been riding mountain bikes for six years and racing for four. He loves being part of biking communities all across New England, building trails at home and at local networks, camping the night before races with family and friends, and challenging himself to beat personal bests. Luke started the 8th grade by grabbing the Cat-B season title in the Vermont Youth Cycling League and followed that with first place among all middle schoolers in the Northern New England High School Mountain Biking season series. Now, entering high school, he looks forward to challenging the next level of riders for the podium!

My name is Sam Oickle and I’m a proud member of the Pine Tree Devo bike team. I am 14 years old and have been racing for 4 years. I’ve been riding bikes since I could walk and it’s been a passion of mine ever since. This year, I had the incredible opportunity to race at the national level. I’m excited to continue training and competing, to grow my skills and race at a higher level than the year before.

Hello, I’m Calvin and I’m a Pine Tree Devo racer, and I joined back in Spring of 2025. I’ve been racing bikes since 2022 and have been riding my whole life. I love racing because whether it’s a good or bad race, it still challenges me every time, and is always a great time with friends and bikes!

I have been riding bikes for 3 years now, I got started riding bikes my sophomore year of high school and it has taken my life in a whole new direction, I race mountain bike, gravel as well as road. I love racing and training because I like pushing myself as hard as I can.

Hi I’m Levi and I have been riding and racing bikes my whole life. Since joining Pine Tree Devo in 2024 I have been traveling to races all over New England and beyond to race on a national level. I have had many successful races but the one that means the most to me is my third place finish at 2025 USA Cycling Gravel National Championships in La Crescent MN. I enjoy training and working with my coach (Tread) and riding with the team. I’m looking forward to sharpening my skills and seeing where this all takes me.

Rider bio coming soon.

Hi, my name is Dylan Vaughn. I am 17 years old and I have been racing bikes for 10 years, and riding longer than I can remember. I am a multi time Cat 1 winner of the many New England races including the 25 mile Landmine MTB Classic and been in the Varsity top 3 overall in NEYC. I have raced MTB at the national level and am an experienced racer. I love to explore new places, ride with friends, and get KOM’s on Strava. I am super excited to have the opportunity to be part of the Pine Tree Devo team this upcoming season and can’t wait to see what it brings!

My name is Rowan Riordan and I have been on two wheels since I had the strength to push my strider bike. There is never a time I would pass up going outside to ride or skiing with my friends. The joy of racing comes to me when I finally reach a goal that I have been putting all my time, energy, and focus on. I enjoy the pain and suffering knowing that pain is temporary and I am doing what I must do to chase my dreams.

As the oldest junior racer on Pine Tree Devo I spend a fair amount of time racing with the older kids. This allows me to be around people who are much faster than me with much more experience letting me watch how they approach sections and other insights from a more educated mind. This also gives me some of my biggest inspirations near my age, but the person I admire and am astonished by everyday is Tom Pidcock. I strive to be a very strong all rounded riding in every discipline just like Tom. With the rise of this new elite development team I have been able to grow so much so fast and I can’t wait to see where this team goes.

My name is Griffyn Vaughn and I’m 14 years old. I’ve been riding bikes my whole life and racing for the past 9 years. I have gone to mtb nationals for the past 2 years and I’m planning on going again this summer as well. Most recently I tried racing cyclocross last fall and really enjoyed it. I’m so glad I met my teammates and my coach Tread last summer at nationals. They strongly encouraged me to join the team and I am very glad that I did because it has been great so far. I’m looking forward to a lot of good racing and training with Pine Tree Devo.
